Here's what you need to be clear about
Once the legally required conditions for admission have been met, and the entry profile has been verified, only if the number of applicants who meet the pre-admission criteria is greater than the number of places offered on this doctoral programme will the Academic Committee of the doctoral programme be responsible for ranking in order of admission according to the degree in which the CV of the candidates demonstrates that they possess the fundamental skills and knowledge mentioned above. Ranking will be carried out in accordance with the following scale (out of 10 points):
1. Level of concurrence or extent of the degree’s affinity with the programme: up to 5 points.
2. Content of the courses in the academic transcript in the areas mentioned above: up to 2 points.
3. Transcript of records: up to 2 points.
4. Other academic or professional merits: up to 1 point.
Before the opening of pre-enrolment, the Academic Committee will publish the merit assessment scale. The ranking score, assigned in accordance with universal and equal academic criteria for all, will be made public and may be contested before the Doctoral Programme Guarantees Committee and, where appropriate, the Doctoral School, who will ultimately determine the order of priority of student applicants.
